Faculty Advisor. Oversaw the production of a student commercial for the Coca-Cola Regal Films Contest. Commercial won the Social Media Award and played in Regal Theaters across the country. 2020 Pacific Southwest Regional Student Emmy Award Winner and Addy Student Award Winner.

Splashing the Streets | January - May 2017
Short Documentary
Faculty Advisor. Daniel Gerrity (Civil and Environmental Engineering and Construction), Brett Levner (Film) and a group of students collaborated to create a short documentary about water conservation and reuse in Southern Nevada. Their project was funded by a grant from the the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Science to Achieve Results (STAR) program. The project was integrated into Levner's course on documentary filmmaking (FIS 447). A cohort of film and engineering students worked closely with water professionals from the Clark County Water Reclamation District and the Southern Nevada Water Authority to produce the documentary, which takes a comedic approach to educating the public about the Las Vegas water cycle. Pacific Southwest Student Emmy Award Winner.

Director & Story By. I directed this feature length film about an underage sex trafficking victim in Las Vegas starring Sam Trammell (True Blood), Michael Muhney (Veronica Mars), Mike Doyle (Law & Order: SVU), Bre Blair (Las Vegas, The Baby-Sitters Club), Clarence Gilyard (Die Hard, Walker, Texas Ranger) and Missy Yager (Mad Men). Official selection: Dances with Films 2016 and Las Vegas Film Festival 2016. Winner Best Local Feature and Best First Time Feature Director at the Las Vegas Film Festival 2016. The Track is currently being distributed by Indie Rights Movies and can be viewed on Amazon Prime.

Scheduled and attended shoots, which included conducting interviews and shooting footage. Coordinated post-production phase including assisting off-line Avid editor, oversaw on-line edit and sound mix. Worked with the Standards & Practices and Right & Clearances departments to make sure that all elements are cleared for use in the show. Maintained relations with Press and Promos departments. Oversaw production assistants and interns assigned to show.
